I believe that honesty is the best policy! My relationship with all my students is the most important thing to me, and I don’t want to do anything to harm our friendship.

All the lessons here on EnglishTeacherMelanie.com are free for you and English learners all over the world! That’s important to me. I know how hard it is to find quality language-learning resources, and I want English learners all over the world to know that I am here to help you be the English speaker that you dream of being!

However, this website costs money to operate. I have to pay hosting companies for my website, my podcast, and my email list. I pay for services that make my website easy to find in search engines, easy to use by students, and things that make my website look nice!

I pay these costs with money I make from Google Adsense ads and links to Amazon.com on this website.

I link to Amazon because I love Amazon and I genuinely believe that it is an incredible resource for language learners. I buy everything on Amazon!

If someone clicks on a link to Amazon.com from my website and buys something, EnglishTeacherMelanie.com earns a small commission. This money helps pay all the operating costs for EnglishTeacherMelanie.com and helps make the website bigger and better for you.

I only link to books and other products that I believe will help you, and I strongly believe that using audiobooks and e-books will help you learn English better and faster.

I link to Amazon.com because my largest market is the US, and all my operating costs are in US dollars.

Of course, you don’t have to shop at Amazon.com. You can always find the books in the Amazon store in your country, and I always suggest alternative places where you can find English books that I recommend.
