September was an AMAZING month here at EnglishTeacherMelanie.com! This was my biggest month in traffic, so thank you everyone for visiting my website, watching my videos and listening to my podcast!

Weekly Lessons
Each week begins with a new listening lesson. During the week, the listening lesson is followed by a grammar, vocabulary and expression lesson relating to something I said in the listening lesson.

Lesson #13
Listening – The Bathroom
Grammar – 2nd Conditional
Vocabulary – Do Not Call It a Toilet!
Expressions – Not so much

Lesson #14
Listening – Let’s Go to the Ex!
Grammar – Used to
Vocabulary – What is an Ex?
Expressions – Expressions with ‘Crazy’
Pronunciation – Do you say /s/ or /z/ instead of ‘th’?
Pronunciation – Do you say /t/ or /d/ instead of ‘th’?

Lesson #15
Listening – 53 Years!
Grammar – Would = Used to
Vocabulary – When to Say ‘Congratulations!’
Expressions – Marriages: Asking Someone to Marry You, Getting Married and Types of Marriages!

Lesson #16
Listening – The Licence Plate
Grammar – Be Used to
Vocabulary – Getting and Keeping a Driver’s Licence
Expression Explained – A Lean, Mean, Polluting Machine!

Lesson #17
Listening – Shopping at the Mall!
Grammar – Get Used To
Vocabulary – Talking about Clothing and Shopping
Expressions – MORE Expressions about Shopping!

Canada Fun Facts
#1 – The Southernmost point in Canada is South of the Californian Border…and Rome, Italy!
#2 – Winnie-the-Pooh is Named After a Canadian City!
